Raucous in vision and gritty in execution, alt-rock outfit Good Will Remedy gives a modern foot stomp attitude to a subtly anthemic rock track with solid guitars and a powerful yet catchy set of hooks. Bravo! – Jammerzine Dec 18

(Johnny) The third single taken from their album 'Silver Lined' - Alt-country vibes with an anthemic Springsteen sound to it in parts – Post to Wire Dec 18
Americana is a broad genre that encompasses country, alt country and rock –and it is here that Good Will Remedy find themselves a home. GWR are a band awash with strong song writing and performance craft with an honest southern fried feel tinged with alt Countryesque Americana styling.
Good Will Remedy released their latest 7 track EP, "Witness Mark" at a sold out Milk Factory in May - With the two singles already released; Caroline and Juanita both receiving rave reviews and airplay across Australia, the US and UK. In fact track Juanita clocked up 2.5k in Spotify Streams within the first 2 days of release and has now surpassed 15k in streams.
For "Witness Mark" GWR recorded 7 songs recorded in a three-day session at Brisbane’s Airlock Studios with long time producer Yanto Browning; all songs were recorded live with vocals the only overdubs. The EP sees the band simplify their approach to both writing and recording. The title – Witness Mark is not only a line from a song on the EP (Something in your way) but represents a line in the sand moment for the band as far as pre-production and the recording process is concerned.
The aim was to keep the energy and vibe in the material by recording the songs sooner than they may have done previously; “even if that means it’s energy based on not F$%king up!” – Says Vocalist and Bass Player Will. Will continues “previously we have worked up a song and played it quite a few times live over period of a few months or more, and we all agreed that the end result can be that the song becomes a little flat, and some of the parts become over complicated and over played; we really wanted to try and avoid that this time”.
2018 was a big year for GWR… After launching of their second album Silver Lined to a packed house at iconic Brisbane venue Leftys Old Time Music Hall in May, the band delivered a blistering debut performance at the Gympie Music Muster. 2018 also saw the bands two video releases, first single Piggy in Middle and, the highly rated narrative based third single Johnny, receive on-line premieres via Rhythms Magazine and Jammerzine (US) respectfully, with the Johnny video is rapidly approaching 10,000 on line views!
The band welcomed 2019 with the release of a live EP of songs recorded @ Leftys Old Times Music Hall as well as a first ever trip to Tamworth for the Tamworth Country Music Festival.
